Bilateral air cooperation agreement between Israel and Jordan
Haifa - According to Israeli media, Jordan and Israel have signed an agreement on bilateral air cooperation.
According to reports aired on Israeli TV channels, the new agreement will allow Israel and Jordan to use each other's airspace for Gulf countries, Asia, the Middle East, Europe and North America. According to media reports, the agreement will benefit both the countries and instead of covering long distances, the two countries will be able to continue their air travel using each other's airspace.
According to TV channels, limited air cooperation between the two countries has been going on for many years. There have been several rounds of talks in the past between Jordan and the Israeli Aviation Authority to expand air cooperation.
Jordan has also expanded air cooperation with Israel following recent agreements between the United Arab Emirates and Bahrain with Israel and Saudi Arabia allowing Israeli airlines to use Saudi airspace.
Under an agreement between Jordan and Israel, UAE and Bahraini airlines will be able to travel to Israel using Jordanian airspace from Friday. In addition, Jordan has allowed flights from North America and other countries to reach Israel through its airspace.
Israeli Communications Minister Marie Reggio says we have once again succeeded in penetrating the border and expanding our flight operations in the airspace.
Saudi warplanes strike in northwestern Yemen
Attacks by Saudi warplanes continue in various parts of Yemen. Meanwhile, the invading Saudi coalition has once again violated the ceasefire in the western city of Hodeidah.
Al-Masira TV reports that Saudi warplanes have bombed the cities of Haradh and Al-Marzouk in the northwestern Yemeni province of Hajjah, causing heavy damage to civilian homes. Meanwhile, the troops of the invading Saudi coalition violated the ceasefire 170 times in the last few hours in Al Hudaydah province.
A ceasefire is in place in the western Yemeni province of Al Hudaydah based on the 218 Stockholm agreement, but the invading Saudi coalition has always violated the agreement.
Meanwhile, the head of Yemen's national negotiating delegation has called for a ceasefire in Al Hudaydah to comply with the ceasefire agreement reached in Stockholm, Sweden.
According to the report of Al-Alam, the head of Yemen's national negotiating delegation, Mohammed Abdul Salam, welcomed the statement of Martin Griffiths based on the adherence to the Stockholm Accord and active and positive cooperation in the joint program of the UN delegation.
Martin Griffiths, the UN special envoy for Yemen, said the escalation of recent military operations in the province of Hodeidah and the massacre of Yemeni civilians was a matter of concern and that such actions amounted to a violation of the Hodeidah Ceasefire Agreement. ۔ And that is a violation of the Stockholm Agreement. Martin Griffiths called on all parties to end the war in Yemen and to honor their commitments under the Stockholm Accords.
The fourth round of Yemen peace talks began in Stockholm in December 2118 under the chairmanship of the UN special envoy and in the presence of all Yemeni parties, and a ceasefire agreement was reached on December 13, 2118, in Al Hudaydah province. In the past, some steps have been taken to end the war in Yemen, but it has stalled due to the aggressive nature of Saudi Arabia and the United Arab Emirates.
With the support of Saudi Arabia, the United States, and a few Arab countries, the country has been under siege since March 2, 2015, with a brutal attack on Yemen.
The instigators of the war in Yemen have so far failed to achieve any of their goals. So far, more than 16,000 Yemeni civilians have been martyred, tens of thousands wounded and millions displaced in this devastating war.
