Let's take a look at the scientific theory first.

According to most scientists, the sun is stationary. And all the planets revolve around it. Now, according to a new theory, the sun is also moving. And all the planets, including our earth, revolve around this sun. This theory was first proposed by Galileo Galilei in 1615. It was also objected to by many people at that time. Because this view was completely against the Bible. And for inventing this theory, the church severely punished this scientist. But later the same theory was adopted by the scientists, which is still valid today. That is, you can say that the theory of the motion of the earth was not formally proposed by anyone before 1615.

A look at the scientific theory

According to the theory of scientists, the earth revolves in two ways. It revolves around itself and the sun. It revolves around itself at a speed of 465.1 meters per second (or 1674.4 kilometres per hour). And revolves around the sun at a very high speed of 29.8 kilometres per second (or 107300 kilometres per hour). To date, this has not been proven by any rational argument. Many critics have objected to this theory. As some critics say, if the earth is really spinning at a very fast speed of 30 kilometres per second, how can the birds return to their place after flying in the air. Planes will never be able to land at the airport. Scientists say (ie 1 lakh 7 thousand kilometres per hour) such a speed is not even a jet plane.

There is disagreement among scientists about the motion of the earth. Just as the ancients believed in the motion of the sky that the sky is moving, so the people of modern science believe in the motion of the earth.

Let's read my arguments on this theory.

Argument No. 1. The biggest argument for us Muslims is that there is not a single verse in the Qur'an that says that the earth is moving. Rather, the earth is mentioned in most places along with the heavens. So the great similarity between the two is that both the earth and the sky are stationary. The Qur'an mentions the movement of the sun, moon and stars, each floating in its own circle. But nowhere in the entire Qur'an is it said that the earth is floating. Rather, it has always been the case of the earth that we have driven into it so that it does not move, nor have we anchored in it that it cannot move. And Allah has restrained the heavens and the earth from moving. Etc. etc. And that's the biggest argument.

Argument No. 2. Blessed is the verse of the Holy Qur'an: ِّ

Translation: “Surely Allah has restrained the heavens and the earth from moving (Surah Fatir verse 41).

You may say that I have mistranslated or misinterpreted the meaning of this verse. Here we are talking about an earthquake. So from the commentary of this verse, it will be clear to you that it means the movement of the earth. Keep in mind that I did not make this commentary myself but this commentary has appeared in at least three commentaries.

The best interpretation of the Qur'an is that in which the ideology of the Companions is presented. And the Companions are also those whose great position is mentioned in the hadiths. The commentary of such Companions is in fact called Hadith Marfu '. And this commentary is also narrated from such Companions whose status is proved by the blessed language of the Holy Prophet himself.

The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said: Recite the Qur'aan with four people. And the first name is Hazrat Abdullah Ibn Masood. Similarly, Mustafa فرمان said: I like in my ummah what Hazrat Abdullah Ibn Masood (may Allah be pleased with him) likes. And I dislike those who dislike Hazrat Abdullah Ibn Masood.

It is stated in Jami 'al-Bayaan (Tafseer al-Tabari) and Tafseer al-Darmanthur that when the issue was raised before the Companions that the sky revolves. The one who narrates it is the famous Tabi'i Hazrat Ka'b-ul-Ahbar who was a great scholar of previous books and believed in the time of Hazrat Umar Farooq. The idea of ​​moving the sky was of the Jews of that time. Hazrat Ka'b may have heard from the Jews about the idea of ​​the sky moving. But they did not know that this view was against the Qur'an. That is why he said that the sky is moving. But when the word of Hazrat Ka'b reached the two glorious companions of Hazrat Abdullah Ibn Mas'ud and Hazifa bin Yaman Rizwan Allah Alayhim, both of them unanimously recited the verse of the Qur'an and said, "False Kaab.

Translation: Ka'b said wrongly. Allaah says (interpretation of the meaning): Verily, Allaah has restrained the heavens and the earth, not vinegar.

Now consider this commentary and hadith. The issue was the rotation of the sky. But the Companions presented the verse in which both the rotation of the heavens and the earth are rejected. It turned out that some people were convinced of the movement of the sky at that time. But no one was convinced of the motion of the earth. This theory was invented by later people. So now it is clear from this commentary that the correct meaning of this verse is that the earth is not moving.

Argument No. 3. To consider the sun as a stationary centre and the earth to revolve around it is tantamount to denying the Qur'anic verses. On the contrary, there is a lot of guidance in the Qur'an about the movement of the sun.

In Surah Yaseen, verses 38-39-40 of the Holy Qur'an, Allah Almighty mentions the rotation of the sun and the moon, while according to some scientists, the sun is stationary and all the planets revolve around it.(38) And the sun moves for a pause. This is the command of the All-Knowing. (38)And the moon, We have appointed stages for it, until it is like the old date-palm. (39)The sun does not reach the moon, nor does the night overtake the day, and each one of them walks in a circle. (40)

Keep in mind the collection of hadith and not a single verse of the Qur'an in which the earth is said to be dynamic. Allah Almighty has mentioned the movement of the sun, moon and stars in many places. But the movement of the earth and the sky is not mentioned anywhere. Rather, he said of the heavens and the earth, "Allah has forbidden them to move.

Argument No. 4.

It is narrated on the authority of Anas that the Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) said, When she was buried, she became still. Seeing this, the angels were amazed at the power of the mountains and said

, “O Lord Almighty! Have you created anything stronger than the mountains? Allah Almighty said, "Yes!" It is iron. ”Then the angels asked,“ Have you created anything stronger than iron? ”He said,“ Yes! That is fire. ”Then the angels asked,“ Have you created something stronger than fire? ”He said,“ Yes! That is water. ”Then the angels asked,“ Have you created anything stronger than water? ”Say,“ Yes! That has happened. ”The angels again asked,“ What is stronger than air? Has He created anything? ”He said,“ (Yes) when the Son of Man gives alms with his right hand and the left-hand does not know. ”

Now it is clear from this hadith that Allah has likened the mountains to nails. Nails are applied to stop something. As we want to put a picture on the wall, we drive the nail so that the object becomes fixed and becomes still. So this hadith is also clear proof that the earth is static.

Evidence No. 5 - Allaah says in Surah An-Nahl, verse 15:

And He made the earth anchored so that it would not shake with you, nor the rivers nor the paths that you may find your way.

In this verse, Allah is likening the mountains to anchors. Now, look at the ships when they are meant to be completely stationary. So large iron anchors from ships are thrown into the sea so that the ship is completely stationary and does not move so that the goods etc. can be easily unloaded and loaded from the ships. So the wisdom of anchoring on the earth is that the earth does not move at all. So this blessed verse also shows that the earth is not moving.

Well, now you have questions coming to mind. If the earth does not move, then how come night and day, cold and heat. While a model is regularly taught on it that if the earth moves, if it comes to this place, it is night, if it comes to this place, it is the day, and similarly, there is cold and heat. Etc. etc. So I have read the views of those who believe that the earth is static on various sites and YouTube, according to them, only the model needs to be changed. If you bring the sun to the place where you are rotating the earth, the problem will be solved.

Existence of day and night

This is all due to the movement of the sun. When the sun is in front of us, it is day and when it is behind us, it is night. The sun completes one revolution around the earth in 24 hours. Which changes day and night. Consider the speed of the sun. Imam al-Ghazali narrates in his famous book Alchemy of Happiness. The Holy Prophet (sws) asked Gabriel (sws) if there was a fall. Gabriel (sws) said: La means no and at the same time said Naam means yes. The Prophet (peace and blessings of Allaah be upon him) was astonished that he first said no, then immediately the blessing was the reason. So Gabriel (peace be upon him) said: That in as long as I brought and then said Naam, in as long as the sun (in our opinion as much as a horse) travels a distance of five hundred years, the sun had covered such a distance. From this hadith, you can guess that the sun What will be the speed of And it is quite possible that the sun completes its orbit around the earth in 24 hours.

The existence of cold and heat in the year

Similarly, the sun moves in 365 circles around the earth in a year. When the sun's distance from the earth increases, winter comes. Like in our country from November to February. And when this distance narrows this circle, it is hotter because it is closer to the sun.

Cold in some parts and heat in others

Similarly, in the same month, there are summers in some parts of the earth and winters in some parts. As December is very cold in Pakistan but it is hot in Australia. This is also due to the movement of the sun. That the Sun's circle is colder because it is farther away in Asia and warmer because it is shorter in Australia.

The existence of six months of day and six months of the night in the pole

The sun moves not only in one of the 365 circles but also in 365 circles up and down. 

Due to which the poles of the earth (ie consider the roof of the earth) remain partially six months night and six months day.

I also know that there are many more questions in your minds. The answers are available on the Internet. But you have the right to disagree. And I'm not imposing my will on you. Whether you accept it or not. It's your choice.
