Muslims must stand up to global imperialism: Iran Army

Iran's Armed Forces have issued a statement strongly condemning the French authorities for defending blasphemous acts in honor of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).

French President's anti-Islamic actions

Written by Abdul Hameed Bayati

In modern political literature, France is called the cradle of democracy in the West. Its purpose is, in fact, to obscure France's colonial past from the minds of the rest of the world. But in the same cradle of democracy, some events are taking place which, when considered, lead one to the conclusion that the spirit of illegitimate domination and colonialism over other nations has not only disappeared from the political system that ruled France but also the current rulers. They are moving in the direction of the past. . But what has led to the emergence of this characteristic of the French rulers these days is Islamophobic measures. A new wave of hatred against Islam and Muslims has emerged in France.

The anti-Muslim measures taken by the French authorities in Eliza have a long history. As a continuation of these measures, in late October, French President Emmanuel Macron intended to enact a new law against Muslims after exaggerating the actions of some extremist elements. The French president then announced to the media that the French government had enacted a new law to combat "religious separatism". He further clarified that he has decided to go abroad and abolish the education system based on the study of Imam Masjid and Preacher. The French president claimed that his decision was aimed at liberating Islam in his country from the control of foreign elements.

France will begin drafting the new law later this year in a bill that will be presented to ministers in the central cabinet. The bill will also be introduced in the French parliament early next year. The new law will severely restrict the educational activities of Islamic centers and Islamic organizations in France. In addition, in light of the new law, the government will monitor the education of imams and preachers. Similarly, the financial support received by Islamic centers and organizations will be thoroughly investigated. Another major incident has taken place in France during the controversy over the creation of a new anti-Islamic law.

Meanwhile, court proceedings have begun against those who attacked the office of Charlie Hebdo magazine. Last year, gunmen stormed the office of a French magazine, Charlie Hebdo, killing several office workers. The attack was in fact a response to the magazine's publication of insulting cartoons in honor of the Holy Prophet (PBUH). Charlie Hebdo magazine has published blasphemous sketches in honor of the Holy Prophet (PBUH) so many times that he is now notorious for it. Five years ago, when the magazine first carried out this blasphemous act, there was a strong reaction against it all over the world. But in the name of freedom of expression, the magazine has consistently insulted Islamic sanctities.

Recently, a teacher in France showed Charlie Hebdo's blasphemous sketches to all the students in the class. His actions caused a wave of outrage among Muslim citizens. Muslim citizens in France have demanded that the school authorities expel the arrogant teacher and take legal action against him, but this legitimate demand has not been heeded. Then, suddenly, a young Muslim man stabbed the insolent man to death. All the Western media, including the French rulers of this incident, started fierce propaganda and psychological war against Islam and Muslims. French President Emmanuel Macron also expressed sympathy for the slain arrogant prophet and announced the enactment of a new law.

This raises the important question of why the French rulers, in spite of strong international opposition and condemnation, do not stop this series of insults to the honor of the Holy Prophet. The possible answer is that the French rulers are deliberately pursuing such a policy. He is terrified of the growing trend of the people in his country towards Islam and the spread of Islamic teachings in society. Therefore, one of the purposes of encouraging the desecration of Islamic sanctities by the Western authorities, especially the French rulers, is to defame Islam and Muslims by inciting Muslims to extremist actions. The second goal is to stop the rapid spread of Islam in society.
